Since 2024
We participated in the FruitCREWS Final Meeting, held in Brussels, Belgium, on June 23–25, 2026. The programme included the Final Workshop on Sustainable Water Management for EU Agriculture at the European Parliament Info Hub, technical visits, and strategic discussions on the future of the FruitCREWS network.
We participated in the ROOT-BENEFIT Symposium & 3rd Annual Meeting, held in Granada, Spain, on May 13–15, 2026, hosted by the Estación Experimental del Zaidín (EEZ-CSIC).
We participated in the International Conference on Water Relations and Irrigation of Fruit Crops: From Science to Policy and Practice, held in Naoussa, Greece, on June 16–18, 2025, under the umbrella of COST Action FruitCREWS. We delivered an oral presentation titled: “Effects of Water Availability on Growth, Yield, and Water Use Efficiency in Mediterranean Apple Orchards.”
We attended the Follow-up Meeting of the COST Connect on Agriculture, held at the COST Association Headquarters, Brussels, Belgium, on June 10, 2025.
We participated in the 2nd Annual Meeting of COST Action ROOT-BENEFIT, held at the ZALF Campus in Müncheberg, Germany, on May 21–22, 2025, under the theme “Strategies for Bridging Knowledge and Application.” During this meeting, we presented a poster titled: “Phosphorus-Solubilizing Bacteria Enhance Phosphorus Uptake and Modulate SPX Gene Family Expression in Apple (Malus domestica).”
We took part in the International Concept–Knowledge Workshop on Designing New Cropping Systems, held in Mainz, Germany, on February 11–12, 2025.
We joined the COST Connect event on Agriculture and Its Products, held at the COST Association Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium, on October 17–18, 2024.
We co-organized the international workshop “Root Beneficial Microbes – Fit for a Changing Agriculture?”, held under COST Action ROOT-BENEFIT at the University of Évora’s Colégio do Espírito Santo in Évora, Portugal, on September 19–20, 2024.
We participated in the 4th EPI-CATCH Annual Conference on Epigenetic Mechanisms of Crop Adaptation to Climate Change, held at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Novi Sad, Serbia, on June 4–6, 2024. We delivered an oral presentation titled “Addressing Major Challenges: Evaluating Advanced Apple Selections in Turkey.”
We attended the 1st Annual Meeting of COST Action ROOT-BENEFIT, held at the House of Nature, University of Latvia, in Riga, Latvia, on April 23–24, 2024, where we presented “TURKISH ROOT-BENEFIT NETWORK.”
