Since October 2023

We participated in the International Conference on Water Relations and Irrigation of Fruit Crops: From Science to Policy and Practice, held in Naoussa, Greece, on June 16–18, 2025, under the umbrella of COST Action FruitCREWS. We delivered an oral presentation titled: “Effects of Water Availability on Growth, Yield, and Water Use Efficiency in Mediterranean Apple Orchards.”

We participated in the 2nd Annual Meeting of COST Action ROOT-BENEFIT, held at the ZALF Campus in Müncheberg, Germany, on May 21–22, 2025, under the theme “Strategies for Bridging Knowledge and Application.” During this meeting, we presented a poster titled: “Phosphorus-Solubilizing Bacteria Enhance Phosphorus Uptake and Modulate SPX Gene Family Expression in Apple (Malus domestica).”

We joined the COST Connect event on Agriculture and Its Products, held in Brussels, Belgium, on October 17–18, 2024.

We participated in the 4th EPI-CATCH Annual Conference on Epigenetic Mechanisms of Crop Adaptation to Climate Change, held in Novi Sad, Serbia, on June 4–6, 2024. We delivered an oral presentation titled: “Addressing Major Challenges: Evaluating Advanced Apple Selections in Turkey.”

We attended the 1st Management Committee Meeting of the COST Action – Beneficial Root-Associated Microorganisms for Sustainable Agriculture (ROOT-BENEFIT) in Brussels, Belgium, on October 16, 2023.
